It’s one of the most positively reviewed products we’ve ever seen, and we’ve seen hundreds of different products, and analyzed hundreds of different reviews. The reviews for the Margaritaville blenders are off the charts. You just load the ice in the ice bin, add the ingredients to the reservoir, and the machine knows what ice/ingredient ratio to mix together to get the perfect blended drink. If you can get over that hurdle, there’s not much more for you to do, because Margaritaville blenders are meant to be used with the push of a button. The prices are pretty high for a blender with such a pre-determined use. The biggest commitment seems to be the price. Another example is the Fiji model, which is $350 and is able to make all sorts of different drinks, with different consistencies. One example is the Bahamas model, it is priced at $200 and can make an entire pitcher of margaritas at the push of a button. There are many different models, each with their own features and price. Anyone would love to be the life of the party, operating this and providing consistently delicious drinks all night, just like at a poolside bar or on an exotic vacation. The hype comes from this sounding like it’s so much fun to use. A perfect drink should come out of the dispenser. All you have to do is fill it up with ice and ingredients and hit the button. It’s also a way for you to look like you know what you’re doing, even if you don’t, because the machine does all the mixing for you. It’s basically a party station, because it can make drinks a pitcher at a time if needed. They say that you can make margaritas, daiquiris, smoothies, and mudslides, all from the same machine. But the folks behind the Margaritaville blenders say they’ve got it down to a science. Getting them to taste just right can be hard, even for a professional bartender. This can be hard because of the alcohol, which can melt the ice pretty quickly unless you use a chilled glass. Who doesn’t like a frozen margarita or other mixed drink when it’s well-made, and a hot sunny day, and when you’re of legal age? It should have that perfect consistency where it’s not too watery, and not too frozen. The question remains, does this blender really provide you with a properly blended drink, or are you better off going with a different one? They call them Frozen Concoctions, which leaves the door wide open to all sorts of drinks you can cook up at home, using your own ingredients, or some of the pre-mixed beverages they also have available. Overall, this machine can serve many purposes, but as far as frozen margaritas go, it can't be beat.Whether or not you want to be wasted away again, you might be considering the Margaritaville blenders for the ultimate slushed beverage experience. It could also make great smoothies, and like I mentioned before, frozen coffee drinks. You flip the switch to choose how many drinks you are making, (1, 2, or 3) and then you choose to shave & blend. When making a frozen margarita, you put your ingredients (tequila, triple sec, mix, any fruits you might want, etc) in the blender and your ice in the top. (I used this function to make a frappuccino.) You can also choose to blend only, which will serve as a normal blender. You can choose to shave only, and the shaved ice will be dropped into the blender. You put the ice in the top compartment to be shaved, and you put your drink mixes and fruits in the blender part. But this machine blends the ice perfectly. My regular blender just would not cut it. I love frozen margaritas, but every time I tried to make them in the past, it was a pain. I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband. True Margaritaville Frozen Margarita Machine I'm not sure on durability, I've only had a year, but it lasted through a summer season in Florida being used almost every weekend? I guess that's the point since it's a promotional Margaretville machine, but it doesn't look good with the style and design on my kitchen. Really easy to us, put the ice in the top, but the rest of the stuff in the blender, turn it on, and wait for your drinks. So for this machine isn't very versatile, I only use it for making frozen mixed drinks, which makes this a summer time appliance only.įrankly I find it kind of annoying to get the whole thing totally clean. I guess technically it's versatile because you could use just the blender, but I wouldn't, there are other blenders out there that are better. I don't think I would use it to make my fruit smoothies in the morning, but if I'm going to make daiquiris, mudslides, or margaritas, this is the machine I go to. It's not as good as my actual blender, but it is very good at mixing together mixed drinks. I received this as a Christmas gift one year, and was skeptical as to how well it would actually work.
